Grand Canyon Tour Highlights

The Grand Canyon South Rim will take your breath away. Soul enriching. Awe-inspiring. A gift by nature that will boggle the senses. We promise a captivating experience. Tour in the comfort of a Mercedes-built sprinter touring van with a maximum of only eight guests.

Oak Creek Canyon. Our Sedona guests will ascend up Oak Creek Canyon, once called one the Top 5 Most Scenic Drives in America by Rand McNally. Shimmering Oak Creek winds through thick forest back-dropped by towering red rock canyon walls.

Views of San Francisco Peaks. Just outside Flagstaff enjoy views of the San Francisco Peaks, the tallest mountain range in Arizona. Lush green in spring and summer. Golden colors in the fall. Snow-capped during winter.

Stop at Little Colorado Gorge. The Little Colorado flows into the Colorado River when reaching the Grand Canyon. Shop for authentic souvenirs handcrafted by Navajo Indian artisans in an open-air marketplace.

West-End Views of the Painted Desert. Passing through the Navajo Indian Reservation, view distant edges of the Painted Desert. Ancient civilizations made this area home for thousands of years.

Enter at East-End of Grand Canyon. The Desert View entrance has less traffic. You get into the Canyon quicker meaning more time to enjoy its splendor. The east-end arguably has the greatest views. On a clear day you can see where the Grand Canyon begins.

Stop at the Desert View Watch Tower. Built in 1932 as a replica of a prehistoric Indian tower. Climb 70 feet to the top of the tower and experience the incredible views across to Comanche Point and the Colorado River far below.

Navajo Point. Watch the changing colors on the western cliffs as the sun rises. See great views of the Colorado River’s Big Bend. At about 7,500 feet, Navajo Point is the highest point on the Grand Canyon South Rim.

Lunch is served. Lunch is either served at Desert View or Navajo Point. Your choice of gourmet sandwich will be picked up on the morning of your tour and kept cool and fresh on board. Relax, Walk around, take photos and savor the visual feast.

Moran Point. Proceeding to Grand Canyon Village along Desert View Drive, we stop at Moran Point for more photo-taking. At the discretion of the group, we may eat lunch sitting on the wall overlooking the canyon.

Grand View and Yavapai Point. Depending upon timing and weather, we may choose one or both at the group’s discretion. Both feature amazing views and Yavapai Point includes a geological museum.

Grand Canyon Village. This is the center of action and the historic section. You will have plenty of time to walk along Rim Trail set along the edges of the canyon. Sit on the cliff walls and savor the beauty. Visit Kolb Photo Studio which which is right on the cliff’s edge. Watch the mules descend or arrive at the Bright Angel Trail. Visit Hopi House and you may be lucky to see Indian Dancers perform in native costume. You may see the Grand Canyon Train arrive or depart. Watch closely for the endangered California Condors, the largest bird in America with a wingspan up to 9.5 feet.

Exit at the West Main Entrance. We take a different route back to your origination. If time permits, we may stop at Eagle Rock Trading Post. Kickback, watch a DVD of the history of the Grand Canyon and relive your memories of an eventful day. We head to Interstate 40 near Williams and back into Flagstaff.

Back down Oak Creek Canyon. Our Sedona guests will experience the descent back into Oak Creek Canyon that hides the Secret Canyon Wilderness. It will be our pleasure taking you on one of the most exciting tours the world has to offer.
