Land Before Time
Your VIP Grand Canyon tour begins with the Sonoran Desert. In this land before time where arthropods and dinosaurs once roamed, see legendary Saguaro Cactus in infinite variations of form and size. Absorb the history of ancient tribes, such as the Hohokam and the most feared of all Indians, the Tonto Apache, and how their reign of terror ended at Bloody Basin.
As you ascend from desert plains to high desert woodlands, notice the changes in the flora from Saguaro to Mesquite and Creosote to Juniper and Pinion Pines to Ponderosa Pine, Sycamore and Aspens. Magnificent beauty entices the senses throughout the day will change your perceptions of Arizona forever.
On To The Grand Canyon
The scenic drive goes through Flagstaff and continues through the world’s largest Ponderosa Pine forest. Be rewarded with views of the San Francisco Peaks, the tallest mountain range in Arizona at 12,600 feet. After a brief pit stop at Double Eagle Trading Post and a short drive…
Cowanga! The Grand Canyon
The thrill you’ve been waiting for. Enjoy about 1 hour at Grand Canyon Village. Take your gourmet lunch to the edges of the canyon. Stroll the Rim Trail. Tour the historic buildings. Watch the mules enter the Bright Angel Trail. Shop at the Hopi House. Savor the astounding views from Kolb Studio and Lookout Studio.
Desert View Scenic Drive
Next we begin the scenic Desert View Drive along the canyon’s edges. We make a stop at many of the best overlooks for more amazing views of the canyon and potential sightings of the California Condors which have been introduced at the Grand Canyon to revive this almost extinct largest bird in North America with wing spans up to 9.5 feet. We proceed along Desert View Drive to some of the various view points, such as Mather Point, Moran Point, Lipan Point, Yavapai Point and Grand View Point, which features great views of the Colorado River far below, then on to Desert View Watch Tower.
Desert View at the Grand Canyon East Rim
Serene and tranquil. Arguably the most beautiful scenes into and across the canyon. Here we relish in breathtaking panoramas with views of the North Rim and the Colorado River. On a clear day, see Marble Canyon, the eastern genesis of the Grand Canyon. Climb the Watch Tower which sits on the canyon’s edge overlooking dramatic cliff. This will get the adrenaline churning.
Navajo Trading Post and Little Colorado River
On to the Navajo Indian Reservation. Along the way, catch distant views of the western edges of the Painted Desert. You’ll have time to stretch the legs and view a wide variety of authentic Indian made jewelry, pottery, art, sculptures, Dream Makers, Kachina Dolls, ancient artifacts and other Native crafts at great prices and take in the view of the Little Colorado River.
Back from an incredible journey!
It’s a different route back, deja view of the forests and views of the San Francisco Peaks. B.Y.O.B. – Our Limo rating gives you the option of enjoying your preferred beverage on the relaxing journey back. Your memories of memorable visit to one of the world’s seven wonders of the world will be an experience of a lifetime. It will be our pleasure to bring it to you.

Testimonials
Just wanted to say what great tours my husband and I had with Silver Spur Tours while we were vacationing in Sedona in September. We took a tour of a Magical Day in Sedona and another tour of the Grand Canyon. Your Mercedes Vans were very luxurious and comfortable and the tour guides were fantastic. I just can’t say enough about Dwayne Foster. He made our tour spectacular and we had a wonderful time. He is very knowledgeable about every aspect of Arizona. I would personally like to thank Dwayne for his hospitality in making our day at the Grand Canyon a very memorable experience. Thank you so much and my husband and I will certainly recommend your company to anyone we know who plans on taking a trip to Sedona. Thank you. ~ Nancy M.
Silver Spur,
We were picked up at our hotel, Sedona Real, today, May 2nd for our scheduled tour. We were greeted by Thomas for our day trip to the Grand Canyon. From the moment we boarded until the moment we were returned to the hotel, I cannot stress enough what a wonderful experience we had. Thomas was the best tour guide we have ever had. His subject knowledge was amazing and the interaction we had with him was so enjoyable. You are fortunate to have him as a representative of Silver Spur Tours. We immediately let our concierge know of our great experience and encouraged her to promote your services to all their guests. Again, thank you for making our first trip to Sedona and the Grand Canyon so memorable. ~ Karen and Russ Spicer

Good Morning,
I just wanted to send along a quick note to let you know how much my family enjoyed our recent experience with Silver Spurs. We booked the Grand Canyon tour on Wednesday, April 22nd from Sedona. Dwayne was our tour guide and we had 6 in our party. It was truly a memorable trip. We celebrated my Mom’s 80th birthday with the Grand Canyon as the background…it was very special for us. Dwayne was amazing, attentive, and very knowledgeable…with a great sense of humor. We could not have asked for a better way to experience the Grand Canyon for the first time. Thank you so, so much. Please give our best to him. We will certainly recommend Silver Spurs to our friends and look forward to visiting Arizona again in the future.~ K. Rowland
Awesome! Over the Top! Beyond our Expectations! My wife and I took the VIP Loop Tour to the Grand Canyon and we were so amazed by every part of it. Our tour host, Thomas, was an experienced guide with a wealth of knowledge. We were provided with a very nice water bottle, a cooler with all sorts of goodies, along with a picnic lunch. The touring van was lush, with individual captain seats and brand new. Everything about this tour was exceptional and above the norm. Highly recommended!!!!! ~ Rob Reid, Barrie, Ontario, Canada.
My husband and I went on your Sedona Grand Canyon Loop Tour on 4-16-09. Dwayne was a great guide, very enthusiastic, had a good sense of humor, and was a never ending source of knowledge. We would never hesitate to recommend this tour to family and friends. Thanks for a great experience. ~ Don & Rosemary Januszyk
