Travel in our customized Mercedes Benz Touring Van from Sedona. The tour begins with an ascent up Oak Creek Canyon, one of the most scenic drives in the country. Continuing through Flagstaff, Arizona and past the astounding views of San Francisco Peaks, the highest mountain range in Arizona, the first stop will be the Little Colorado River Gorge on the Navajo Indian Reservation. Then, just a short drive to the East Entrance to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.
Get ready to tantalize your senses. Your tour stops at the Desert View Overlook and the world famous Watchtower. Climb 70 feet to the top level and relish the incredible views of Comanche Point and the Colorado River far below. A picnic lunch is provided while you absorb once-in-a-lifetime views. It gets even better as we begin the scenic Desert View Drive with stops at Moran Point and Navajo Point.
Your Grand Canyon Tour continues to Yavapai Point and Museum of Geology. You will discover some of the most breathtaking views of the Grand Canyon. Guests are encouraged to walk the Trail of Time about 1.5 miles along the edges of the canyon to the Historic Center of the Grand Canyon. Your guide will drive guests that prefer to bypass walking the trail to the Tovar Hotel where they have free time to explore the Village at their own pace.
Your guide will suggest points of interest and astounding views. Visit Hopi House with architecture that brings ancient Native American culture alive. Lookout Studio sits right on the cliff's edge. There are many lookout points that will perk the adrenalin. Kolb Studio is nearby and will reward with even more great views. Watch the mules enter the Bright Angel Trail. Stroll the Rim Trail. Have coffee and desert on the deck at the Tovar Hotel and relish the views.
